Tim prepared a delicious lunch with a large assortment of local meats, cheeses, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Wine, beer, soft drinks and water were available all day. All the "extras" like towels, sunscreen, and a restroom were provided. The hospitality and friendly atmosphere made for a wonderful and memorable experience.”

After a quick drive from our pick up point in Nelson to the Kaiteriteri beach, we stepped on the boat and cruised along the coast to our hike starting point: Torrent Bay. From there, we hiked in the forest surrounded by ferns, beech trees, manuka trees, ... Zane gave us a lot of information about plants, predator control, history of New Zealand and interactions between Maori people and the first europeans. Sights on the few bays…”
